David Rice

I joined the Marine Corps in August 1968 and served in Vietnam in 1969 as a rifleman. After the service I went to Carleton College and graduated with a BA in 1975. I married Eleanor Clark in June 1975. She and I lived in Boston for three years where I got my law degree from Boston College and she got her MD from Boston University. We lived in Rochester, MN from 1979 to 1986 while Eleanor did her residency in pathology. We moved to Eau Claire in 1986 and I started at Herrick and Hart law firm in 1987 where I still work. Eleanor and I divorced in 1999. She is now living near Brainerd MN.

I enjoyed being in the Male Choir with Mr. Lokrem. I went out for football for two years and track for two years. I remember some good friends like Stu Siebell and Denny Z.
